Lucy does Santa Fe


No, it's not really Lucy. Natalie Dessay gave Santa Fe audiences her first staged Violetta on July 3, 2009.
While it might be one of the most 'athletic' performances of the consumptive courtesan, Elektra questions Mme. Dessay's vocal suitability for the role. Will she even be able to survive the run of 10 more performances?
